It’s the New Year - so excited for what this year of 2021 is going to bring. I think we’re all looking forward to a year of empowerment.
To me, empowerment is taking the first steps to being fully in control of your life - in control of your finances, goals, and happiness. Even if you’re still learning and growing (as we all are!), you can empower yourself to take big steps in life by being prepared + just going for it.
Like I mentioned, one way I want to feel more empowered in the new year is by taking control of my finances. If you’re filing taxes this year by yourself like me, you got this! As a new tax filer and student, I want to get the best returns this year, even though I don’t necessarily have the experience necessary.
Luckily, I am leaning on the free student filing option from H&R Block!
